HBO’s hit drama series, Big Little Lies, may get a third season after all. It first premiered in 2017 and was a critical and commercial success. The second season came out two years later in 2019. Ever since fans have been demanding for a third season.
Based on the book by LIane Moriarty of the same name, the Big Little Lies cast is nothing short of a dream for any director. The cast included Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz and many more.
It has been more than four years since Season 2 came out and the talks for a new season are finally getting serious. HBO CEO/content chairman, Casey Bloys, when asked about the show, said that he has heard about it and he thinks that it could be great. Reese Whitherspoon and Nicole Kidman have teased about a new season as well.
If these talks come to fruition, fans could expect another mystery-studded season from HBO.
