This film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars names such as Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Pent, and Shahid Kapoor, obviously. Now from the very first minute, this entertainment-packed movie is made for the OTT and it is a massive statement from them.
This is an adaptation of the French movie Sleepless Night (2011) which mesmerized the audience.
This movie capitalized on the angry young man persona of Shahid Kapoor that he developed through Kabir Singh and Farzi. The main plot revolves around a cat-and-mouse race between a cop and drug lords.
He has a broken family but Shahid is emotionally attached to his son. When he is kidnapped by Sikander (Ronit Roy) the story gains some pace.
Now in the endless space of action films, this doesn’t really distinguish itself. There are some interesting shots but that is it. The action doesn’t disappoint, it serves its purpose but fails to be memorable.
Should you stream it? If you have nothing to watch and are having a dull day, you can think about it. But there are so many actions that are far better than Bloody Daddy that it will be a crime to recommend this as a Must-Watch.
