We all loved Babil Khan in “Qala.” The guy has inherited acting skills from Irrfan. How can you not be excited for his next venture, especially when it is going to be on Netflix?
The movie, titled “Friday Night Plan” features Juhi Chawla as Babil’s mother, who is going to Pune. Now, the two brothers have to take care of themselves and plan to organize one of the coolest parties of the year. The movie also features brilliant young actors such as Amrith Jayan and Aadhya Anand, who lent great support and were last seen in series such as “Bombay Begums” and “Crushed.”
The beautiful chemistry shared between the brothers is reminiscent of “Tu Hai Mera Sunday,” which came out in 2015. It is a coming-of-age movie that might make you feel like a warm hug.
During an interview, Babil Khan said, “Having a younger brother in real life, this movie feels so relatable to me. It’s a heartwarming journey that brings back fond memories of our misadventures.”
