After a lot of hiccups and uncertainty, Netflix has finally come up with an official release date for its upcoming comedy-drama series Choona. The trailer for the series was launched in July but the show got lost somewhere after that.
The show is going to start streaming worldwide on Netflix from 29th of September. Choona was announced to be released in the first week of August but it is speculated that the show hit a few roadblocks and fell behind.
Netflix usually announces the release date of their upcoming shows and movies on social media. They also mention the same on the Netflix app. But in the case of Choona, Netflix made no such announcements. The page for Choona in the app still shows no release date.
Netflix stealthily listed the release date of the show on their global portal for all releases in the month of September. This is not the way Netflix usually announces new releases.
This forces us to wonder if everything is functioning smoothly for the release or we can see a further push in the release of the show. But as of now, we can be almost certain that the show will air on 29th of September.
