Hotstar special’s ‘City of Dreams’ is back with its Season 3! A crazy ride of plot twists, self-discovery and political battles.
The series directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and also features notable actors such as Rannvijay Singha, Sushant Singh, Flora Saini, and Shishir Sharma, among others, who play significant roles.
Season 3 continues the story from the previous installment, where Poornima Gaikwad played by Priya Bapat and Saheb played by Atul Kulkarni – the father-daughter duo, unite after a major political conflict in season 2. After losing her son in a bomb blast, Poornima goes missing. She is eventually found by SI Wasim Khan and brought back home. The unexpected twist occurs when Poornima and her father, Amey Rao, join forces to strengthen their political party.
Among all, Priya Bapat shines as a true star, nailing the emotional depth her character demands. Overall Director Nagesh Kukunoor delivers another intense political thriller with City of Dreams season 3. However, like the previous installment, it can feel a bit long and time-consuming.
