Now if you loved this dialogue, you should grab your popcorn and tune into Netflix. And if this wasn’t enough to convince you, then also you should give Copenhagen Cowboy a try.
Now, there are some series where the matter is far less important than the manner. Thus you are welcomed to the world of Copenhagen Cowboy, this is no generic thriller.
The story revolves around a character named Miu who has some psychic abilities. Miu will go on a journey to explore the dark underbelly of Copenhagen to take revenge on those who did hurt her. She will face various obstacles and will conquer them without spending many words. Sounds like a female John Wick with supernatural powers?
The series is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and he did a phenomenal job. If you aren’t acquainted with films like Drive, Too Old To Die Young, or The Neon Demon, this will be a good introduction to Refn. The dark shots with splashes of colour will make every frame worth pausing.
The show might seem incredibly slow in the beginning but in later stages, it will make you fall for it.
You can stream Copenhagen Cowboy on Netflix. This is definitely not a must-watch series but it is something that will take you on a journey to remember, something very new.
