Bejoy Nambiar, a director known for his innovative experiments in films, released “Taish” in 2020 as both a mini series and a movie. Later, he introduced a web series “Kaala” on Disney+ hotstar with the intriguing concept of ‘reverse hawala.’ Now, he has once again collaborated with Harshvardhan Rane, who was acclaimed for his roles in movies like “Sanam Teri Kasam” and “Taish.”
The trailer for the upcoming bilingual movie, titled “Dange” (Called “Por” in Tamil), has recently been released. It unfolds a story about college students with adrenaline pumping through their veins. The trailer introduces two leads: Harshvardhan, who aspires to change for the better but gets entangled in circumstances with Ehan Bhatt’s character. Nikita Dutta plays Harshvardhan’s love interest.
The trailer has everything to build excitement for a thrilling, power-packed journey – a beautiful color palette, engaging background music, and captivating cinematography. However, it also has its share of drawbacks. Since the movie is also made in Tamil, titled “Por” starring Arjun Das and Kalidas Jayaram, the Hindi dialogues seem misplaced and childish.
Additionally, Ehan Bhatt’s presence pales in comparison to the charismatic looks of Harshvardhan Rane. The question remains whether he will be able to stand firm in front of Harshvardhan. We will find out on March 1st when the movie releases in theaters. Share your thoughts on the trailer!
