Amazon Prime has had a very successful run in the Indian OTT industry recently with successful releases like Made In Heaven 2. It has announced another drama series on its platform, Bambai Meri Jaan. The series will be released under the banner of Excel Entertainment and will be available exclusively on Amazon prime in 240 countries and territories.
Bambai Meri Jaan is a crime drama that will unfold in a series of ten episodes. The show has a star packed cast including Kay Kay Menon, Avinash Tiwary, Kritika Kamra etc. Shujaat Saudagar has directed the series. Shujaat is famous for directing the sequel of the Bollywood hit, Rockstar 2.
S Hussain Zaidi, who has also worked in Anurag Kashyap’s Black Friday and Gangubai Kathiawadu, has written the show. Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia and Farhan Akhtar are the producers of the series.
There has been no official release date for the show as of now but it is expected to be released soon. Kay Kay Menon will be making a comeback in a prominent role after Special Ops and Special Ops 1.5 back in 2021.
