Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor starrer “Fighter” is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. This Sidharth Anand directorial has created a huge hype around it, and the movie is all set to release tomorrow on January 25th.
The slick trailer has piqued everyone’s interest in the film, and even the VFX looks impressive. It promises to be a no-nonsense aerial action drama, similar to what we saw in “Top Gun: Maverick.”
The hype around “Fighter” is evident in its ticket prices, especially in multiplexes in metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. PVR, the cinema franchise, is selling tickets at a price of 2200, with prices going even higher in Delhi, reaching 2400 for one movie ticket.
In Gurgaon, prices are also high, around 2300, and in Mumbai, they rise up to 2100, which is quite substantial for a single ticket.
On one side, there’s an argument that lowering prices is necessary to bring people to theaters, while on the other hand, incidents like these with high prices are observed. It’s obvious that the hype sells, and these elevated prices are attributed to the buzz and Hrithik Roshan’s stardom. However, the actual performance of the movie can only be assessed after the first weekend of its release.
