“The Railway Men,” a Yash Raj Films production, has been making headlines on and off for some time. The movie first gained attention when a snippet was released quite a while ago. However, it seemed to disappear from public attention. Now, it’s making a comeback as it’s set to be released on Netflix, thanks to a multi-year partnership between YRF and Netflix. The film will be presented as a four-part series.
“The Railway Men” is based on the tragic events that occurred in Bhopal in 1984 when a chemical called methyl isocyanate leaked into the air, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives. This catastrophe has never been depicted on such a large scale before.
The movie features an ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu Sharma, and Babil Khan in leading roles. It’s a character-driven story where these men work to save lives while putting their own lives at risk.
Directed by Shiv Ravai], “The Railway Men” is set to premiere on 17th November exclusively on Netflix.
