The highly-awaited Amazon Prime series “Bambai Meri Jaan” has finally received its release date. The announcement video was released today, revealing that the show, which is based on the rise of the underworld in Mumbai, is set to premiere on September 14th.
The series features Avinash Tiwary, Kritika Kamra, and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles. The snippet released by the team starts with intense background music, followed by a dialogue that builds anticipation without revealing too much, effectively enhancing the excitement for the upcoming show.
Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and directed by Shujaat Saudagar, “Bambai Meri Jaan,” originally titled “Dongri to Dubai” after Hussain Zaidi’s book, is scheduled for release on September 14th.
In addition to this Amazon Prime show, Avinash Tiwary, the actor known for his lead role in Imtiaz Ali’s “Laila Majnu” and other movies, is currently on a roll. Following the recent success of “Khakee” on Netflix, he returns with this 10-episode series “Bambai Meri Jaan.” Also, Avinash will star in another series titled “Kaala,” directed by Bijoy Nambiar, which is going to release on a day after “Bambai Meri Jaan,” i.e., September 15th.
