Ahead of its original release, FX’s Shōgun has achieved another great feat with the early ratings coming in from critics. Shōgun has debuted on the Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect score. The film has a 100 percent rating on Tomatometer. So far the reviews have come in from the early critics who have watched the series and are limited in number.
Shōgun received highly positive reviews from the early critics who even compared the show with the legendary Game Of Thrones. Shōgun is going to throw some fresh light on the history and culture of Japan and try to portray it with a Japanese lens.
It stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai in the lead role. It is based on a 1975 novel by the same name written by James Clavell. The early reviews suggest that Shogun is going to be a big hit globally.
