“They are Coming..” sounds familiar right…? “Winter is coming”. From the director of the world famous television series “Game Of Thrones’ ‘ Derek Tsang is back with another breathtaking series. Based on Liu Cixin’s famous sci-fi trilogy “The Three Body Problem”, Netflix is releasing a series on 21st March with the same name “3 Body Problem”.
To invade Earth, Aliens from a different civilization which is on the brink of distraction are planning to take over on Earth. Meanwhile, two teams are forming on Earth, one is trying to help the superior beings and the other ones are ready to fight back.
Previously we have seen the similarities the creator kept with the touch of newness in the “Game of Thrones” series as it was also based on George R. R. Martin’s, “A Song of Ice and Fire”. The brutality and fantastical elements in that series still stayed with us till this date because of its way of storytelling and realistic cinematography.
Based on previous experience, audiences can expect a blast in case of “3 Body Problem” as well. Based on a futuristic world, “Three body Problem” explores the themes of post-apocalyptic scenarios, which the directors portrayed beautifully in the trailer.
From the trailer we can see the similarities of some scenes with some episodes of “Black Mirror”. But, with the versatile cast featuring Eiza González, John Bradley, Marlo Kelly, Benedict Wong and many more the series is going to be an amazing glimpse of the futuristic world.
The “Three Body Problem” trilogy fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the series as well as the “Game of Thrones” fanatics.
