Gumraah: A Good One Time Watch Remake

‘Gumraah’ directed by Vardhan Ketkar is a remake of 2019 Tamil movie called Thadam. A gripping story about a killing that keeps you engaged from start to finish. With Mrunal Thakur as the investigating officer, the mystery deepens as she tries to identify the real culprit among two lookalike suspects, played by Aditya Roy Kapur.

The film hooks you from start to finish. The murder mystery keeps you guessing as Shivani Mathur played by Mrunal Thakur must uncover the true culprit among two lookalike suspects, Arjun Saigal and Ronnie. ACP Yadav believes Arjun is the culprit, while Inspector Shivani suspects Sooraj. The story unfolds with unexpected events, leading to a dramatic climax.

Although it slows down at times during the initial buildup, there are exciting twists that reignite the pace. Writer duo Aseem Arora and Magizh Thirumeni, under the tight direction of Ketkar, keep the story moving swiftly.

Movie avoids clichés of double roles and doesn’t rely heavily on mistaken identity. While the story is straightforward, the intriguing plot twists and a refreshing backstory make it more captivating.
