As a fellow Cinema lover, I don’t even wanna get started to tell you the importance of IMDB. From a random Nordic series to the least known Asian series, IMDB is not just there for the invention part, it also helps you to filter and pick good content. Though it’s not a system, it’s a trusted one.
Today, on Social media, IMDB posted their rankings for the top 50 Indian shows that have entertained you for years. It is a list of shows that have been loved by the fans and came out between the 1st of January 2018 and to 10th of May 2023.
There won’t be much debate regarding the top 4 posts as it has been held by Sacred Games, Mirzapur, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, and The Family Man. Then comes a surprising entry of Aspirants which cements the fact that fans love TVF and they succeed from an emotional standpoint.
Kota Factory, Panchayat, and Patal Lok also found their place on the list. Asur is holding a surprising 12th spot but its late exposure in the mass can be a reason for that. Aashram is sitting in the 18th place, Little Things is also placed at the 36th place. JL50 by SonyLiv is enjoying a surprising 41st place. Aranyak by Netflix ends the list, being in 50th place. Farzi is in 17th place but the expectation was a bit higher.
Also, Bhuvan Bam’s two series, Taaza Khabar and Dhindora made the top 50 list. Maybe there were some surprising placeholders and the absence of Non-Hindi content may hurt some watchers, but for most of it, there is no dispute.
