As the India vs England Test series continues to impress with India’s new generation of stars, Indian fans are not quite happy with the viewing experience they are offered by JioHotstar.
As JioHotstar is the official streaming partner for the ongoing Test series, there have been countless complaints regarding the underwhelming experience provided by the streaming platform.
Users took to social media, stating how the video quality provided by the OTT service is extremely disappointing and low-quality.
They also stated how the overall layout of the scoreboard was not up to the mark and didn’t mention all the necessary information.
While many users were not able to keep track of the runs scored and overs bowled, many were furious as the ball speed was not displayed regularly on the scoreboard.
Another huge criticism JioHotstar has faced during the series is regarding the Hindi commentary. Many stated how the Hindi commentators spoil the overall experience by talking about useless comparisons and often stretching unnecessary conversations.
Several users stated how the royalty of a test match is often spoiled by the Hindi commentators and hence prefer English commentary over Hindi, calling it a disgrace.
As JioHotstar has been facing several complaints regarding the ongoing Wimbledon tournament as well, it remains to be seen whether the OTT giant will take any steps to improve their services.

@JioHotstar Do i need to pay more to see the speed of the deliveries in the test match #INDvsENGTest. Your horrible scoreboard is not at all worthy of having.
