Kareena Kapoor is finally going to make her OTT debut this month and her arrival is announced in a grand style. Netflix just dropped the trailer of the film ‘Jaane Jaan’, a mystery thriller. The 2:08 trailer is full of suspense and eeriness which is intriguing enough to appeal to the viewers. Sujoy Ghosh has both written and directed the film.
Alongside Kareena Kapoor, Jaane Jaan features Raazi fame Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Saurabh Sachdeva, Karma tapaka, Naisha Khanna and Lin Laishram. The trailer hints that the plot revolves around a murder and its coverup. But there’s a blurring line between morality and reality and this raises an uncertainty around guilt and innocence. The picturesque setup in the foothills of Himalayas adds a layer of mystery to the plot.
Kareena Kapoor looks very convincing in her role as Maya D’Souza. This would be her first big role in a movie after Laal Singh Chadda. The filming took place in Kalimpong, West Bengal. Sujoy Ghosh has directed movies like Kahaani, Kahaani 2 and Badla. Netflix has announced that the film will be released on Kareena Kapoor’s birthday, which is 21st of September.
