Jio Cinema, the OTT streaming platform, is planning a unique approach towards its audience. Digikore Studios has launched “Indian Angels,” the world’s first OTT angel investment show, exclusively on Jio Cinema. It’s an angel investor show tailored for Indian investors, aimed at helping them pursue exciting ideas and achieve new heights of success.
The show features a panel of established investors who have risen to great prominence, including Ankit Agrawal, Shreedha Singh, Kunal Kishore, Ajinkya Firodia, Rikant Pittie, and Aparna Thyagarajan. “Indian Angels” aims to revolutionize angel investing by encouraging viewers to become investors themselves.
The inaugural episode of the show is set to release in late October, with two episodes per week on JioCinema. “Indian Angels” aspires to democratize startup investing and empower individuals to chase their investment dreams.
This is not the first time an Indian reality show is centered around an economic approach. Sony Liv had a highly successful show called “Shark Tank India” that focused on startups. Given the interest in such concepts, there is hope that “Indian Angels” will also find success with the audience.
