As JioHotstar remains to be surrounded by numerous complaints from the users, another one has been added to the list.
While the OTT platform provided poor video quality and streaming issues, it seems that the data consumption for such quality is also unjustified.
A user took to social media, stating how JioHotstar consumed over 1.5 GB of data after almost 80 minutes of streaming, and that too in data saver mode.
Usually, the data consumption should be less than 1 GB for the lowest resolution possible, but JioHotstar seems to consume even more data on the lowest resolution, which seems to be a huge problem for several users.
The user further complained that the data pack limit got exhausted after almost one hour of streaming. Drawing comparisons to other applications, the user stated that no other app consumes this much data.
While the streaming giant has been regularly involved in such complaints, it remains to be seen if JioHotstar will rectify this problem ahead or not.
