Kangana Ranaut, who was once one of the biggest female actresses, delivering hits like “Queen” and “Tanu Weds Manu,” is now experiencing a slump in her career post-“Manikarnika.” None of her recent movies seem to be resonating with the audience, and “Tejas,” her latest release, also failed at the box office. The film is now set to premiere on OTT.
“Tejas” is based on Airforce pilot Tejas Gill, tasked with rescuing a spy holding crucial information for India’s security. The movie had the potential to be a slick action thriller but fell short in various aspects.
It faced criticism for excessive and premature use of VFX, subpar action scenes, leading to disappointment among viewers. Nevertheless, “Tejas,” starring Kangana, Anshul Chauhan, and Varun Mitra, directed by Sarvesh Mevara, will premiere on January 5th, exclusively on Zee5.
Kangana, a powerhouse of talent, often faces criticism for her social media opinions, impacting her career. If she aims to revive her old charm, collaborating with more skilled professionals is crucial for success.
