The teaser for the movie “Kill” is finally out! The film was announced last year with big claims from producers Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. It was even showcased at the Toronto Film Festival, where the makers compared it to “John Wick” in terms of intensity and gore.
The story revolves around Indian army commandos Amrit and Viresh, who are on a mission to save Amrit’s girlfriend, Tulika, from a forced marriage. Things take a dangerous turn when over 40 bandits led by Fani hijack the train they’re on, leading to a chaotic battle to protect Tulika and her family.
Starring Lakshya as Amrit, Tanya Maniktala as Tulika, and Raghav Juyal as Fani, the movie promises intense action and gore. However, despite the hype, the teaser doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking for fans of hardcore action movies. The teaser is nice. There are a lot of blood spills, knife attacks, and raw action but Lakshya is doing it with a wooden face. Although it is merely a 80 seconds teaser and we might get a lot of more stuff when the full film is out. But as of now, the teaser is nothing but a compilation of killings that happen in the film.
“Monkey Man” is another hardcore raw action film set to release soon, offering a deeper storyline than “Kill.” Fans will have to wait until July 5, 2024, to see if “Kill” lives up to its promises.
