It seems that the popular production company TVF has devised an effective strategy of creating engaging series on YouTube to gain maximum fame, followed by selling its second season to leading OTT platforms for maximum profit. They previously employed this strategy with “Kota Factory,” where the second season was sold to Netflix, and now, the well-received show “Aspirants” is set to release its second season on Amazon Prime Video.
“Aspirants” was a successful YouTube series that delved into the stories and struggles of UPSC aspirants. The show took a grounded approach to storytelling, making the characters’ journeys feel like real-life experiences. Audiences developed a deep connection with characters like Sandeep Bhaiya, SK, Guri, and even Abhilash, who ultimately achieved his dream of becoming an IAS officer. Others settled for what they had in their respective spin-offs.
