Napoleon is a biographical entertainment film made by Ridley Scott with Joaquin Phoenix playing the part of the famous French emperor in it. The film follows Napoleon’s rise to power, his military campaigns, and his stormy relationship with his wife Josephine portrayed by Vanessa Kirby. Tahar Rahim plays the role of Paul Barras, Mark Bonnar plays the role of Junot and Rupert Everett plays the role of the Duke of Wellington.

November 22th 2023, it was released in cinemas, and the movie was praised by critics from all over the world on its scope, visual effects, and the performance of this actor. Winning an Oscar for his performance as Joker in 2019, Phoenix made a physical change and researched the history and character of Napoleon to be able to depict him authentically.

He also kept a diary as Napoleon to be able to get into his mindset and perfected his accent and mannerisms. Critics and audiences have lauded Phoenix’s acting prowess, labeling him one of the best actors of his generation.

Napoleon is not available to stream online at the moment but it will likely appear on Apple TV+ in the future because it’s an Apple Original Film. According to some sources, the film is rumoured to be digitally released on January 9, 2024. However, Apple has not officially confirmed this date.
