Black Mirror season 7, which will include six new episodes starring Zazie Beetz, Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek, Josh Hartnett, and Robert Daly, is set to debut on Netflix in 2025.
While the plot of five of the episodes is still unknown, ‘USS Callister’ from season four has a sequel that centres on the crew’s issues after Robert Daly’s death is made clear. The show centres on the deranged spacecraft captain and programmer Jesse Plemons.
The USS Callister’s warped starship commander and programmer, Robert Daly, is no longer with us, but his crew is up against fresh difficulties.
In the episode, Daly assumes leadership of his coworkers by manipulating their DNA to create sentient digital replicas for a simulation akin to Star Trek. David Brooker, the creator of Digital Spy, talked about how the episode ended and if he would work with the characters again.
A wormhole leads them to JJ Abrams lens-flare world, where they ultimately arrive. Given his ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign prior to going into a coma, Brooker also disclosed that Dally was probably going to pass away.
