When it comes to the sci-fi or superhero genre on the big screen, Snyder is indeed a solid name in this generation. With the Snyder Cut, he gifted the audience a true epic, and with “Batman v Superman” (BVS), he provided fans with a never-before-seen experience.
Now, promises have been made regarding “Rebel Moon,” and with both “Rebel Moon” and Snyder, there are plenty of expectations. The trailer for the first part of the franchise just dropped today, and there are high hopes.
In the first observation, it possesses the grandeur of “Star Wars,” the beauty of “Dune,” and the magic of Snyder. That’s good enough for viewers to have hope in the movie.
Right at the beginning of the trailer, we’re introduced to the tale of Princess Issa, also known as the Redeemer. This description was followed by a monologue stating, “I was given memories of a world I will never see, loyalty to a king I cannot serve, and love for a child I could not save.”
Next, we catch a glimpse of both the parties of heroes and villains. The shots give off a “Star Wars” vibe as we observe certain brief traits of some characters.
In the trailer, we also see Sofia Boutella as Kora, alongside a star-studded cast including Ed Skrein, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, and Michiel Huisman.
Even the visuals scream the Snyder effect, along with experimentation with the color palette of the upcoming film.
