The film had closed a deal with Netflix for its OTT release with the streaming giant acquiring all the rights. This was a good news as Netflix boasts of being the largest and most popular streaming platform and the film deserves to be seen by as many people as possible, however it has taken a slightly inconvenient turn. The documentary had fans at the edge of their seats, waiting for its release which was today, i.e Friday the 8th, however, in a rather disappointing turn of events, it has now been to Sunday, due to undisclosed reasons.
The film dives is an emotional ride centring around the character of Ranjit, a farmer from Jharkhand, who is on the pursuit of truth and justice following the brutal rape of his 13 year old daughter.
