We rarely see OTT streamers promoting a show, especially in India. There’s always a complaint about Indian OTT platforms neglecting promotions, regardless of the content quality. The effort put into promotion is almost zero.
It’s pathetic that 99% of Indian shows release only a single poster, following such a trend even in this modern social media era.
Amazon Prime Video India is no exception to this. No one knows when a title gets released on Prime or leaves. However, strangely, Prime seems keen on promoting a show that’s already a blockbuster.
“Panchayat Season 3” is the most awaited upcoming show in the Indian OTT space, and there’s a billboard with creative ideas to further increase the buzz.
Even though we know it’s a one-off thing, it’s nice to see some effort finally put into promoting a show in the Indian OTT space.
