The last couple of weeks in particular have been rather dry for the OTT audience with very few interesting options in the offing. But this corresponding week promises to be something slightly different as we again have a restricted number of options but fairly intriguing ones at it.
Stranger Things
Stranger Things: Tales From 85 is a new instalment of the Stranger Things franchise and it dates back to the 1985s as the gang has to deal with more new monsters from the origin. Considering the massive following for this show, this new series must gain significant recognition as well on Netflix. It will stream from April 23.
Apex
Here is something for the thriller genre lovers in the OTT space as we have Apex, featuring Charlie’s Theron in the lead role. “A woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator.” It will stream on Netflix from April 24.
Band Melam
This film has the viral pair from Court in the lead role, but it could not generate any momentum at the ticket counters and a complete watch. It will stream on ZEE5 from April 24.
As mentioned earlier, we have very few options coming up in the OTT space this week, but there is one theatrical release that could grab the attention.
We have Malayalam blockbuster Vaazha 2, which is now releasing in Telugu dubbed version on April 24. This film is an iconic blockbuster in Malayalam Cinema, and it has to be seen if it would gain the patromage of the Telugu audience as well.
