She is the lady who played “Elizabeth aka Gori Mem” in Aamir Khan’s “Lagaan” and has now returned to Hindi cinema with “Kohra”. In “Lagaan” she played an important role of a British aristocrat woman who helped Bhuvan in learning the rules of cricket. With this new series, she plays a mysterious character named Clara and fans immediately recognized her as “Gori Mem”. It was so surprising that people still remember her small yet significant role even after 2 decades.
