If you’re looking to watch a new but conventional show in the crime thriller genre then Amazon Prime has something in store for you. Prime videos has recently dropped the trailer of their upcoming thriller series P.I. Meena. The series will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Amazon Prime has promised its viewers of guaranteed thrill and rush with the series. The show features Tanya Maniktala in the lead role as Meenakshi Iyer.
Tanya plays the role of a private detective who accidently becomes a witness in a murder case. She gets determined to find the truth behind the events and resorts to her detective skills. There are a few apparent twists in plots with the introduction of a possible biological attack through virus. From the trailer, the plot appears what you expect from an ordinary thriller show with nothing exceptionally brilliant. The pace of the trailer isn’t a perfect fit for a suspense thriller as well.
The series is also going to feature Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak and Zarina Wahab. It has been created by Arindam Mitra and Debaloy Bhattacharya. The series would start airing on Amazon Prime from the 3rd of November. If you are looking for something to watch over the weekend but don’t want to have very high hopes from it, then P.I. Meena won’t be a disappointment.
