OTT platforms often do very little to zero promotion when it comes to the Indian market, and many times, their shows don’t even receive minimal attention.
However, in the Western market, a few streaming services go all out to promote their shows and invest heavily in expensive online and offline marketing campaigns.

Here’s one such example: Netflix’s popular show ‘Sex Education: Season 4’ started streaming yesterday, and the streaming giant used a full-sized condom to promote the show in a bustling city.
While these types of unconventional promotions are not new in the US, if they bring these ideas to the Indian market, as they often do sooner or later, they become a topic of controversies.
