Prime Video just released the trailer for “Mumbai Diaries” Season 2, and it appears to be a perfect sequel following the success of Season 1. The first season was the story of a team of doctors from a government hospital during the unfortunate events of the Mumbai blasts.
This medical thriller continues its saga after the events of the 26/11 incidents. Mohit Raina, a trauma surgeon specialist, still grapples with his personal issues. The trailer showcases the events during the heavy monsoon floods in Mumbai that plunged the entire city into turmoil. The city descended into chaos due to the heavy rainfall and a failed drainage system, leaving many patients stranded in the government hospital with water seeping in. The series also addresses the tragic footbridge accident that occurred during that time.
With a talented cast including Mohit Raina, Konkana Sen Sharma, Shreya Dhanwantri, and many more, the series boasts powerful storytelling with numerous emotional subplots. The heart-wrenching tale of the doctors and the survivors who were stuck outside in the rain is a story that needs to be told with utmost sincerity.
