14th of February, also known as the black day in Indian History marks the date of the Pulwama Attack in which the nation lost many of its prestigious CRPF Jawans to a cowardly terrorist attack. In a small tribute to that, Amazon Prime will be releasing the chapter 2 of its highly acclaimed webseries, Rakshak just ten days after that and will be ready to take the nation by storm yet again.
The makers of Rakshak took to social platform X in order to announce the release date as well as the trailer for the upcoming season of the popular OTT release. The story will be featuring popular faces Barun Sobti and Surbhi Chandna and bring to screens a narrative of pure valour, courage and pride along with a touch of patriotism.
Inspired from true events, the almost one and half minute trailer took the audience on a adrenaline packed ride to the secret rooms of ‘Operation Kulgam’, in which soldiers Sombir Singh and Aman Thakur sacrificed their their lives fighting A++ category terrorists following the Pulwana attack.
The story will be centred around the operation and despite the tragic loss, it was infact not one in vain as the armed forces went on to regain the district and also annihilate the opposing forces.
