It seems that the trash coming from Jio Cinema’s side is not stopping anytime soon. They have again dropped a mediocre-looking trailer of a one-night drama series.
Raveena Tandon, who was once a prominent leading lady of Bollywood, is enjoying her second innings with Cinema. She relaunched herself with shows like “Maatr,” “Aaranyak,” and “KGF Chapter 2.” Now, the actress is taking a gamble with this Jio Cinema series, “One Friday Night.”
The teaser that just dropped shows a thrilling dark tale of one Friday night. The trailer talks about it as a story of thrill, love, and deception but fails to portray any of these emotions with authenticity. It might have its better moments, but the depth seems to be missing. The story of extramarital affairs is not something we’ve seen before yet we can expect some kind of novelty in its way of storytelling.
Raveena Tandon who plays a gynecologist here lacks fire in her eyes, and Milind is dull with his dialogues. The show also stars Vidhi Chitalia. Still, we need to remain hopeful until July 28 when the show premieres. You can watch its official trailer below.
