Hansal Mehta is back with his latest creation, Scam 2003 based on the true events revolving around the stamp paper scam and the man behind it i.e. Abdul Karim Telgi.
The trailer gives off vibes similar to Hansal Mehta’s previous creations, most prominently the 2020 blockbuster series Scam 1992. Even the background music for Telgi is the same as the one used for Harshad Mehta.
Abdul Telgi pulled off a Rs 30,000 crore stamp paper scam within eleven years i.e. 1992 to 2003. He ran a very complex network to create a shortage and then supply the demand for paper stamps with his counterfeit.
Not just Scam 1992, Hansal Mehta has given off many critically acclaimed shows, the most recent one being Scoop, a mystery show streaming on Netflix.
The trailer, the cast, the director and the story, all promise for a blockbuster. Scam 2003 will be streaming on Sony Liv on 1st September.
