Sony has lately been touching the Spider-Man fantasy among fans while working on certain projects related to the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Some have been more successful than others, such as Venom’s first couple of appearances, which have been well-received. On the other hand, Morbius has been nothing more than a disaster.
On the other hand, there are spin-offs currently in the works, such as Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web. There could have been more titles to spice things up, potentially featuring Bad Bunny.
But the dream collaboration between Sony and Bad Bunny won’t come to fruition, as the musician confirmed his exit from the film. During his interview with an undisclosed source, although he confirmed his exit, he didn’t mention the reason behind the decision.
Sony recently informed fans about the release dates of their future endeavors, which includes the release dates of both Spider-Man spinoff projects: Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web. However, the release date of El Muerto was removed from the calendar, and the most probable cause is Bad Bunny’s exit from the project.
Previously, it was supposed to have a release on January 12th, but after this setback, the studio hasn’t confirmed any further release date.
Now, Sony’s attempt to solidify the Spider-Man franchise is no less than a dream, but the studio is far from achieving it. If their spin-offs work their magic, that will not only benefit Sony but the entire franchise.
