Netflix has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Sex Education, the hit comedy-drama series that follows the lives and loves of a group of British teenagers. The trailer promises an emotional and hilarious farewell to the characters we have grown to adore over the past three seasons.
The trailer shows Otis (Asa Butterfield) adjusting to his new school, Cavendish College, where he is not the only sex therapist on campus. He also has to deal with his feelings for Maeve (Emma Mackey), who is in America pursuing her academic dreams. Meanwhile, Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) and Adam (Connor Swindells) face some challenges in their relationship, Jean (Gillian Anderson) struggles with motherhood, and Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) explores his identity.
The trailer also teases some new faces, such as Dan Levy as a guest lecturer, and some familiar ones, such as Lily (Tanya Reynolds) and Ola (Patricia Allison). It also hints at some major events, such as a prom night, a road trip, and a musical performance.
Sex Education Season 4 will be the last chapter of the series, which has been praised for its honest and humorous portrayal of sexuality, diversity, and mental health. The show has also been a global success, reaching over 40 million households in its first month of release.
Sex Education Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on September 21, 2023. Fans can catch up on the previous seasons on the streaming platform. The trailer looks promising and we can’t wait to see how the story ends for our beloved characters.
