It starts like a very slow show, it will make you feel like it’s just another comedy in the vast sea of comedy content. And when you are about to lose hope, this show will mesmerize you, and captivate you like nothing else.
Even if we put the whole sense of comedy aside, you can just watch it for the performance of Harrison Ford. Can you even name a better partnership than a grumpy old man and comedy?
The show, from the house of Ted Lasso, also stars names like Jason Segel and Jessica Williams and they practically nail their roles. Now if we talk about the storyline, it is innovative but we can’t say the same about the reviews.
The main story revolves around Segel who is an absolute disaster after he is dealing with the grief and guilt over her wife’s death. The series has the vibe of a sitcom but not in the best of ways though.
The show is about a sweet symphony of all the different characters. The overuse of yelling and complaining can annoy you at some point but you can bear through it.
The show was sharp dialogue that will make you laugh, that is a guarantee. With time, the show keeps on adding layers to it with dimensions to its main faces.
