On November 6, 2023, at 2 o’clock, the renowned Telugu OTT platform, “Aha,” took center stage in the digital entertainment realm as it hosted the South Indian Film Festival.
Aha, along with People Media Factory entertainment made this revolutionary announcement stating that the main motive of this festival will be to celebrate the grandeur of the South’s content along with shining a spotlight on the visionary filmmakers of today. The event will be a platform where Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages come together in a festival of diverse content which is sure to serve as a launching pad for budding directors, writers, actors, and technicians to showcase their skills and creativity.
The announcement also shared that the festival is going to have screenings of yesteryear classics as well and we don’t think that a finer opportunity to introduce timeless classics to today’s audience could arise. While the venue, timings and schedule of the event is yet to be released, the hype has skyrocketed as fans continue to grow restless for this one-of-a-kind event which is sure to take our industry forward by several leaps. Aha has previously come up with many hits which include the likes of “Oh Baby” and “Karthikeya 2” and we’re sure that this unique initiative will soon be joining the list.
