If you’re a fan of Special Ops, then you’re in for a treat. Disney+ Hotstar has dropped the trailer for The Freelancer, a series based in the Middle East, promising flair, and pure action thrill.
The series is adapted from the bestselling 2017 book “A Ticket to Syria” by Shirish Thorat. It comes from the creative mind of Neeraj Pandey, known for Disney+ Hotstar’s Special Ops franchise. Produced by Friday Storytellers and directed by Bhav Dhulia, the show stars Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Anupam Kher, Gauri Balaji, and Navneet Malik.
The story revolves around a daring rescue operation to save a young girl held against her will in war-torn Syria.
Disney+ Hotstar’s collaboration with Neeraj Pandey has consistently delivered stellar series, and the recently released announcement video for The Freelancer looks promising. However, it’s important to note that judging it solely from a mere announcement video might not be fair.
The series is set to premiere on September 1st. If you haven’t watched the announcement video yet, you can click on the video below.
