JioHotstar looks like it has learned its mistake from the past, which it did during “Criminal Justice Season 4”.
With the release of “Special Ops Season 2”, the streaming gaint didn’t fell on the same trap which it did with the Criminal Justice season.
When Criminal Justice decied to release one episode which is less then 40 min per week, fans and critis were heavily frustrated because it was loosing the tension the season was building throughout every episode.
A gripping courtroom drama turned into a dragged out experience which tested the patience level of the viewers rather than building anticipation.
Fortunately, Special Ops S2 doesn’t repeat that mistake.
The makers released the entire season at once, allowing the audience to binge watch and stay immersed in the story’s plotline.
For a spy thriller wgich is on its core based on suspense and tension, this format is not just prefect, it is essential.
Breaking it up would have killed the pace and intensity that defines the Special Ops franchise.
The decision not to release episodes weekly is more than just a smart strategy, it’s a sign that Hotstar is finally listening to its audience.
