Star Wars’ upcoming series ‘The Acolyte’ now has a tentative release date. Although the date hasn’t been confirmed by Disney, they have not declined on the claim either. If sources are to be believed, The Acolyte is set for a June release this year. The series will debut worldwide on Disney+.
The creator of the show is going to be Leslye Headland. The Acolyte is going to feature Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-Jae, Carrie Anne Moss and Rebecca Henderson. The show is going to take the viewers into a thrilling adventure through the galaxy’s dark secrets during the final days of High Republic era.
The show uncovers the story of a former Padawan reuniting with her Jedi master to investigate crimes but on their path they encounter more sinister forces. The timeline for the show is set 100 years before the events of the Star Wars prequel trilogy.
If everything goes as planned then The Acolyte is set to be released on the 5th of June 2024. However, this date can also be pushed to a later one. Disney is yet to release a trailer for the series.
