Reportedly, diabetes-related complications forced her to prioritize her well-being over the competition.

During the latest episode, she informed hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh that she could no longer continue because her diabetes was not under control.

She also revealed that she had been experiencing anxiety due to menopause, along with chest pain and difficulty breathing.

Speaking after her exit, Sunita said she was feeling much better and looked back at her Lock Upp journey with fondness.

She shared that she had developed close friendships with many contestants and described Ram Kapoor as her “best buddy.”

She also admitted that had her health not worsened, she would have continued in the competition.

One of the most emotional moments of the episode came when Govinda arrived to receive his wife after her exit.

Seeing him after several days, Sunita Ahuja said she was overjoyed and revealed that Govinda had initially advised her against participating in the reality show.

The couple also addressed the speculation surrounding their relationship.

During the show, Sunita had made headlines after speaking about enduring infidelity during their marriage.

However, while exiting, she clarified that the experience had given her a fresh perspective and that family matters should remain within the family.

Govinda agreed and said that every marriage goes through difficult phases but what matters is standing by each other.

He expressed hope that such challenges would never return and reaffirmed his support for his wife.

Sunita also opened up about the conditions inside the Lock Upp house.

She claimed the contestants had to go without food for over 12 hours after exhausting their weekly budget.

As a diabetic, she said surviving on limited rations such as boiled vegetables and undercooked potatoes became extremely difficult.

Despite the challenges, she praised Netflix, producer Ektaa Kapoor, and the medical team for taking care of her after her health declined.

She revealed that doctors monitored her blood sugar multiple times a day and later provided her with meals suitable for her medical condition.

She also thanked hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh for their care and support.
