Now, TV was indeed a nostalgic thing for 90s kids; it has been a part of their upbringing. There have been very few shows that defined their childhood, and one of the iconic ones is Takeshi’s Castle, known for the iconic voice of Jaaved Jaffrey. Nostalgia is about to hit you as Prime Video announces the reboot of the franchise.
However, there is sad news regarding the voice. You won’t be hearing the beloved voice of Jaaved Jaffrey as he has been replaced by the Indian YouTuber Bhuvan Bam. Nevertheless, Bam is a good choice who has entertained fans with his amazing online content.
When it comes to voices, Bhuvan offers something really different. He has characters such as Titu Mama, Babli sir, Sameer Fuddi, Bablu ji, Mrs. Verma, and Mr. Hola. He indeed brings a unique flavor to the table as he can portray multiple personas while commenting.
Obviously, the removal of Jaaved Jaffrey isn’t the greatest feeling, but for an iconic part like this, there are bound to be some backlashes. Bam will be a good addition to the show and, to attract the youth, he is the best choice.
Bam is recently establishing his name in the entertainment industry with titles such as Taaza Khabar and Dhindora. This achievement further solidifies his position as a top entertainment creator, and his presence will bring some new aspects to the show.
This new instalment will be released on Amazon Prime. No specific date has been mentioned but it will be a new experience, that’s for sure.
