Aryan Khan’s The Ba*ds of Bollywood is officially heading back, with Season 2 reportedly set to go on floors in March 2027. More importantly, the core gang is expected to return, including Lakshya as Aasmaan Singh, Sahher Bambba as Karishma Talvar, Bobby Deol as Ajay Talvar, Raghav Juyal as Parvaiz and Anya Singh as Sanya. Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari and Rajat Bedi are also expected to reprise their roles.
The timing is particularly interesting because Season 1 ended on a major cliffhanger. Aasmaan and Karishma attempted to elope with Parvaiz’s help, Ajay chased them and a revelation that threatened to completely change Aasmaan’s world. The makers are keeping Season 2’s story tightly under wraps for now.
And that sets up the biggest question: can Season 2 recreate the madness that made the first season such a fun watch? Aryan Khan’s debut had plenty of supporters, with its meta humour, Bollywood jokes, cameos and chaotic energy winning over audiences.
However, there is a slight chance that the show could be uneven, with some arguing that its satire may lose its bite when moving into more conventional Bollywood drama. With the same ensemble returning, the ingredients are certainly there. But The Ba*ds of Bollywood Season 2 will have to find new jokes, bigger surprises and fresher Bollywood targets.
