Show follows the story of Kate Wyler, played by Keri Russell, the new US ambassador to the UK. She’s caught up in a major international crisis and has to deal with it using limited resources. On top of that, she’s gotta make sure her marriage to fellow diplomat Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell) doesn’t crumble under all the changes.
The Diplomat” exposes how those who save us from nuclear doom can’t even button their shirts right. It is a fast-paced show, packed with kidnappings, high-stakes photo ops, and refrigerator raids.
