Assane Diop, the modern day Arsene Lupin, is back to entertain the world with his extraordinary and unbelievable heists in the third part of Netflix’s original series ‘Lupin’.
The trailer starts with a notice to the owners of a precious diamond ‘The Black Pearl’ that Lupin is going to steal it. As the trailer progresses, the gentleman thief gets inside the museum with a crowd supporting him outside, and steals the ‘Black Pearl’ on live television.
But, things are not that easy in life. Assane gets a call from his mother, who is held captive, to bring the ‘Black Pearl’ to ensure her safety. The rest of the trailer follows Assane as he is on the hunt to find his mother and several characters from previous parts make an appearance.
Based on the works of the French author, Maurice Leblanc, Lupin was a very famous character in France around the same time Sherlock Holmes was getting popularity globally in the early 20th century. Lupin didn’t get that much popular because the stories and novels were originally in French.
With Netflix’s series, Lupin has gained worldwide popularity and the book sales have gone up as well.
The third part will premiere on 5 October on the streaming platform.
