The second season of The Scare, which returns to Season 1 of Covenant and stars Deborah Ayorinde as LAPD investigator Dawn Reeve, has been made available by Prime Video. The events of the first season take place in the same location, but in 1991, when the next season jumps forward in time.
When Dawn is called in to investigate a grisly murder case, it becomes evident that there’s more sinister activity going on than just an oddly unsettling murder. Alongside her, her family is exposed to evil forces.
Her conscientious mother Athena (Pam Grier) and her adolescent son Kelvin “Kel” Reeve (Joshua J. Williams). Both have a good deal of secrets to keep from one another outside of the case, and Dawn.
Starring in The Scare are Jeremy Bobb as Detective Ronald McKinney, Edmund Gaines as Lt. Schiff, Carlito Olivero as Joaquin Diaz, the new constable, Charles Brice as Reggie Marks, Iman Shumpert as Corey, and Luke James as a sensitive actor. Ayorinde is tasked with solving a case involving dubious individuals.
