Urmila Matondkar is preparing for a big comeback. The actress has not been seen in any films or TV shows for a long time, and now she is planning to return with a Netflix project.
Latest reports have revealed that Urmila has been signed by Netflix India for its next show, which will be produced by TVF. It is going to be a new concept, marking another collaboration of TVF with Netflix after the success of Kota Factory, which has already built a big fan base.
The storyline of the series remains unknown. But insiders have disclosed that it is linked to the IIT, and Urmila will portray the role of a principal. The good news for now is that filming has already started, and the makers are planning to bring the show by the middle of 2027.
Divyansh Malhotra is directing the upcoming show, which is written by Puneet Batra. The duo has previously worked together on multiple projects. Apart from this, Urmila will also appear in another revenge thriller series, Tiwari, which is also scheduled to arrive in 2027.
