Writer and Director, Vivek Agnihotri has announced the release time for his next movie ‘The Delhi Files’.
In a question asked by a fan on Twitter about the release date of ‘The Delhi Files’, the director replied ‘#TheDelhiFiles 2024.’
Vivek Agnihotri is busy with the promotion of his upcoming movie ‘The Vaccine War’ which is to be released on 28 September. It focuses on India’s role in providing vaccines to the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. It should be noted that India had given free vaccines to many countries of the world in a show of goodwill. At the same time procuring enough vaccines for its own population.
There is no official confirmation about the plot of ‘The Delhi Files’. But there are rumours that it will be based on the Delhi riots of 2020 which erupted during the protests against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) and NRC (National Register of Citizens).
Vivek Agnihotri has been making films on controversial topics related to the nation. Last year, ‘The Kashmir Files’ displayed the horrors that Kashmiri Pandits had to face in the early 1990s.
‘The Delhi Files’ might be another addition to his movie of national importance.
